Open Works is seeking professional makers to teach and develop adult "Make Your Own", project-based classes for our adult education program.
Potential instructors should be competent and experienced in their field and capable of teaching classes at basic, intermediate and advanced levels of making. Class proposals should be accessible to beginner and intermediate skill levels.
We are looking for instructors that are community-minded, friendly, patient, and have expertise in one (or more!) of the following areas and technologies: textiles, 3D printing, electronics, wood, metal, digital fabrication, digital media, design software, coding, small business development, or related fields.
Pay is $25/hour with a $20 prep and finishing fee per program day as independent contractor.
