This QuickBooks workshop will cover how to set up accounts payable, accounts receivable and financials.  This seminar is provided by Philippe Lerner, CFO, MBA of PL Consulting. This event is free and organized by the City of Baltimore Small Business Resource Center.

Raising Capital for Rising Companies Webinar
Thursday, May 26 @ 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Join us as Heather Smith, Managing Director, Head of Private Financing Solutions, Sagent Advisors, discusses healthcare and technology trends and forecasts, as well as provides insights into successful financing strategies. Heather will also discuss what makes a good solid business, and what we need to know about market trends that impacts all of us – from payer payments, adoption and approval processes, and reimbursements. Attendees will have the opportunity for Q&A at the end of the presentation to have their questions answered directly by Ms. Smith.
This is a webinar hosted by Women in Bio – Washington DC/Baltimore chapter. The event is free for WIB members, $15 for non-members. 

Small Business Export Finance Workshop
Wednesday, June 1 @ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
This event is for established businesses that are currently exporting, or looking to export as a way to grow revenues. Talk to experts about your business and your export financing needs. SBA will then present methods of trade finance, risk mitigation and creative uses of loan proceeds under its export loan guarantee programs. This is a free event however registration is required. This event is hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
